Sustainable Clothing, Made for Comfort!
Here at Raph & Rose we do things a little differently. We decided early on that what was most important to us was that our staple pieces are above all else, unrestrictive, supremely comfortable and have an unwavering commitment to quality to ensure your little ones can enjoy them time after time and wear after wear. Thats why we make everything just a little generous in size.
Elasticated waistbands and extra room around the bottom on all of our slouchy fit trousers makes them perfect for all occasions, whether that's just a big lunch or some daring living room gymnastics!
We deliberately add just the right amount of extra length in the legs and the sleeves to add extra longevity, so whether they're rolled up when they're smaller or rolled down when they're taller, they're always good to go for whatever their next adventure is!
The environment
Here at Raph & Rose, doing our bit for the planet is of the highest importance. We source our fabric from UK suppliers and cut fabric as effectively as we can, always being mindful of the waste we create and the footprint we leave. We hold a very small stock and most of our items are made to order to allow us to achieve our eco friendly, zero-waste goal.
The Story
My name is Anna, the woman behind Raph & Rose. Day to day I wear many hats, Wife, small business owner and Mother to my head-strong toddler Philippa who is equal parts my biggest inspiration, cheerleader and distraction!
Although i launched R&R a while before Pippa arrived, it wasn't until she was born did it become apparent to me the huge hole in the clothing industry for mothers like myself who not only want fun, bright, colourful clothing that children actually want to wear, but to have clothing that doesn't reinforce age old stereotypes to the next generation of tiny humans. And this is where my mission statement and true passion for what I've been working on was truly founded.
To project a message that there is no such thing as girls clothes and boys clothes and that kids should be able to wear what they feel confident and comfortable in, to be free, to play, learn and grow without restriction or boundaries.
So with that as my simple guiding principle, I design, make and package everything here in my wonderful studio space in South Oxfordshire. Every single item is made with love and with care, in the hopes that your little ones love dancing, jumping and climbing in these pieces, just as much as I love making them!
So, Who are Raph & Rose?
My beloved grandparents, whom I hold so close to my heart. Raph, my grandfather is sadly no longer with us but he will always be my shining light. And Rose, my dear grandmother, who to this day gives me the strength and courage to achieve my every desire.
